What I mean by this is, would you rather EVERY weapon be allowed if you purchase it? (E.G: an assault with a sniper rifle (they do NOT get the class damage bonus like Recon)) or would you rather they have to stick with their own 'class' of weapons. (E.G: Assault - SMGs & Assault Rifles)

Please reply with your opinion.

Announcements / Our biggest map yet!

Oil Refinery is our biggest map yet! It's being released along with BATTLE r20, and will feature an all-out battle including tanks, large bases, four-wheelers (quads), and huge troop transportation vehicles! It's time to put your sniping skills to use on this map, because there's plenty of distance between you and the enemy!

Just earned copycat achievement 9 looks pretty hard from my perspective with sa-mp sync problems.

It definately is, and there will be a hefty award (once I get around to adding them) once you obtain it.

Added:

Team auto-balance is back! If the teams are uneven, you will not be able to select that team. However, I realize people like to play together, so it just pops up a message box, and the team selection stays open in case you would like to wait for that team to open up.

Achievements are now achievable in-game. The only ones that are not finished are: The Accuser, BETA Tester, and One 'n' Only. There is a detailed guide here on how to achieve them.

Modified weapon damages, weapon damages are classified by class aswell. (EG: Recon snipers do more damage than Support snipers)

Fixed:

Fixed a ton of bugs regarding newly registered users.

Added:

Modified the Team Selection screen to look more fancy, now there are team flags next to the actual team!

Added an Achievement system, further information can be found here.

Added a Double XP command for administrators to activate whenever they feel is a good time. (During peak hours?)

Added a command so you can change your title (along with a GUI to go with it!)

You now have the ability to be level 3, the original limit was 2. (However, nothing is really gained from the level up, it's more of a useless number at the moment)

Added class-team orientated skins, meaning, if you're a Support class and on the US team, you will have a different skin than the Support class on the RU team.

Tweaks to the class selection.

Problem is, rounds go to 50 kills. With the current structure of the game that wouldn't work. This is a TDM based server, you're meant to go out and do stupid stuff and die.. but as long as you have fun, that's what matters. Anyways, opinions?

On Battlefield SA:MP we have an Achievement system that unlocks specific things, from titles to weapons, to even money! Below is a list of all of the achievements, and how to 'achieve' them.

Achievement 1 - The Owner - Maintain a 2.0 K/D throughout a round.
Achievement 2 - The Accuser - Use the report function 50 times.
Achievement 3 - Kill **** - Get over half of the kills for your team for a round.
Achievement 4 - One 'n' Only - Gained by Administrators giving it to you.
Achievement 5 - BETA Tester - Join the BETA Testing team and actively participate in a session.
Achievement 6 - Superman - Die, respawn, and avenge yourself.
Achievement 7 - Evil Twin - Kill someone with the same starting letter as your name. EG: Sky has killed Solar.
Achievement 8 - Copycat - Get killed by someone, and then kill them.
Achievement 9 - Y U MAD THO - Knife someone.
Achievement 10 - The Troll - Given along with "Y U MAD THO".

Haven't played on the BETA server but still have some good ideas? Post them anyway, even if it sounds far-fetched in your head, I'd still love to hear it!

My question to you guys is, how customizable do you want your ranks? I could make a command that you can set your rank to anything you want, or do you want achievements that unlock preset rank names? (Private, General, and so on..)

Please reply and let me know what you guys want, right now I'm leaning more towards presets.
